ColorWizzard™ requires a color card to install. A color card (sometimes referred to as a color key) is a vinyl card approximately 1.5" x 2.5" that has been produced under exacting scientific conditions. The color characteristics of this card have been measured and calibrated for the ColorWizzard software. This card is used to establish the white point of the monitor - this is why ColorWizzard produces very accurate monitor color correction and ICC profiles. No other color calibration software uses this patented procedure. You cannot reliably create a profile without a color card - results would be worse than with no profile at all.
A color card comes with the full version ColorWizzard software package.
A color card is NOT included with the trade-up or upgrade versions of ColorWizzard. An approved color card is required in order to install a trade-up or upgrade of ColorWizzard.
A color card is NOT required for 3DxWizzard.
Color cards are NOT sold separately.
